Commonly called Museum Sénatorerie and labeled “Museum of France”, it presents 17,000 objects of natural history, Asian art, archeology, painting , sculpture and decorative arts. By presenting such a diversity of collections the Museum of Gueret mantains its encyclopedic aim inherited from the Enlightenment and the French Revolution.
