This museum of Britain history and society was created almost 40 years ago and moved in 2006 to the Champs Libres, Rennes’ new cultural facility that brings together in one space a library, a science area and a museum. In 2015, the Museum of Brittany launched a a new scientific and cultural project aimed at placing the public at the heart of the museum approach.
